The black RF Venue Diversity Fin is a multipurpose antenna that reduces dropouts using a proprietary, cross-polarized hybrid design. It is compatible with diversity wireless microphone systems of any brand. The antenna features a mounting block with 1/4″-20, 3/8″-16, and 5/8″-27 threads to secure it on the stand of your choice.
The Diversity Fin combines one LPDA and one dipole antenna in an orthogonal (right-angle) configuration. One element captures vertically polarized waves and the other horizontally polarized waves—doing the same job as two shark-fin paddles. This design greatly improves RF and audio performance in high-profile live sound events, film and TV productions, or routine installations in schools and houses of worship.
To use, just connect both the A and B outputs (coaxial cables available separately) to any antenna distribution system or wireless receiver, and point the antenna toward the stage.
A Nylon cover protects the antenna against the elements for outdoor use.
